Before you start
Registration at Fonbet is shared between the casino and the sportsbook — one account, one balance. The process is the same as at every licensed operator in Greece, because the steps are set by the HGC: identity details, tax number for the age check, and verification (KYC) with documents before the first withdrawal. Step 1: The registration form
Click “Register” (top right on the site, or on the app’s start screen). The form has three parts:
- Login details: email, password (8+ characters, one capital, one number), mobile with +30.
- Personal details: first and last name exactly as on your ID (in Greek characters if the ID is Greek), date of birth, tax number, home address.
- Promo code: a field folded under “Have a promo code?”. Open it and type

Accept the terms and privacy policy, optionally consent to marketing (doesn’t affect the bonus). Click “Create account”.
Step 2: Phone confirmation
Right after the form an SMS arrives with a six-digit code (valid 10 minutes). On confirmation the account activates and the first batch of 50 Free Spins is credited. You can already play demos and the promotion’s slots. Deposits are allowed from now; withdrawals after step 3.
Step 3: Verification (KYC)
The HGC requires identity verification before withdrawal and before the bonus is fully released. Under “My account → Verification” you upload:

Step 4: After approval

The 6 mistakes that delay registration
- Skipping the code — can’t be fixed.
- Wrong digit in the tax number — the tax-authority cross-check fails; contact chat before retrying.
- Name in Latin characters while the ID is Greek — the system rejects it at verification.
- Proof in another name — even a spouse’s. Use a bank statement, everyone has one.
- Cropped ID photo — +1 day.
- A second account (yours or a relative’s at the same address with a shared IP) — both locked.
Login, security, recovery
Log in with email or mobile + password. In the app: Face ID / fingerprint. Optional 2FA by SMS on every login from a new device. Auto-logout after 15 minutes idle (adjustable 5–60). Password recovery via an email/SMS link valid 30 minutes.
Limits and responsible gaming from day one
